Trust & safety

Keeping reviews honest

Reviews are only useful if you can trust them. Here's what we do to keep them real, and what you can do when something looks wrong.

What we do

  • Human moderation of every review before it's published.
  • Verification of linked social accounts through the platform itself, not screenshots.
  • Limits on how many reviews a new account can write.
  • Detection of review rings, self-reviews and reviews written in exchange for money or favours.
  • Suspension of accounts that repeatedly break the rules.

What we never do

  • Remove a genuine negative review because the person reviewed asked or paid.
  • Show who reported a review to the person who wrote it.
  • Sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

Something wrong?

If you think a review is fake, abusive or breaks our guidelines, report it from the review itself or use the report form. If someone is impersonating you, report the profile and pick "Impersonation". We act quickly.
